In an attempt to do justice to the complexity of our present, I developed a special kind of artistic implementation analogously.
For example, today's man is depicted as a transparent film or newspaper-wire-sculpture or as a pure wire-sculpture and placed in relation to the image plane.
The assembly of a foreground image plate in front of a background plate as well as the connection of several image plates by means of cords and the use of special mixed techniques are special features.
Due to the sometimes complex technical implementation (e.g. hammered nails, etc.) I often use MdF-panels as a picture base.
Acrylic paints are most often used
because of their short drying time they
suits my work dynamics very much.
The sculptures consist either of specially impregnated newspaper or cling film, each wrapped with wire.
The choice of these special materials should leave the sculptures a "residual mobility" that symbolizes the humans free will.
As a symbol for the attempt of purely money- and power-oriented groups to neutralize people, clear film offered me as a material.
This plastic-like material represents
in addition, there is a clear reference to the modern everyday world. The person thus robbed of his individuality should be a willing victim for targeted manipulation.
